Bad Day for Dieting…

Okay, I admit it. I went off the diet today. We went on a day trip up to Cascade Springs (Flickr Photo Set) and had a blast, but I didn’t stay on my diet. I Uncrustables, Cracker Snacks, and El Pollo Loco aren’t that good for me, but I was able to do quite a bit of hiking. Maybe it evened out… Okay probably not. Does anybody have suggestions on how to stay on your diet, when you’re going out on a day trip?

  1. Hi – don’t try and be 100% all the time – it’s not possible. No- one is perfect! What you can do though is make healthier choices when you go out – so if you’re doing a day trip perhaps take your own lunch – a wholewheat sandwich, fruit salad, etc or if you eat out only stop at a restaurant where they have healthy food options – then treat yourself to a frozen yoghurt (low fat) instead of an ice-cream.
